WOW! Time is flying by....

Hi Everyone,

Wow! It is the middle of May and we are getting close to year end. We are actually doing OK wise getting our math in. Health....well, we are trying.

A lot of things are coming up. Track and field, your class field trip, and we are all booked for Grand Prix at the end of the year. Also grade 6, if you want me to do a parade float with you, you need to get some ideas to me soon.

I trust everyone had a wonderful spring break and are now ready to begin the last leg of this school year's journey.

We have some events to look forward to thisa spring. There is jump rope for heart and before you know it, you will be training for track and field!

Don't forget grade 6, your health projects are due soon as we want them on display for parent teacher conferences.

I have changed my blog to suit not only the grade 6 class but perhaps would be beneficial to every student in Shevchenko School.  I will be trying to keep you posted on events and add new links for all subject areas for quick reference. Please add your comments and I will try to improve the blog even more to suit your needs.

Today is DARE grad for the grade 6 and 7 students. We had a few minor setbacks but I feel you have all learned the strategies to cope with peer pressure when it comes to consuming drugs and/or alcohol. This was certainly evident in all of your essays which were well done! Congratulations!!

Also remember that there is no school on Monday as we teachers are in a PD sesion. 1.5 weeks til Spring Break!!!! Yahoo!!!!!

Hey, Hey, Grade 6! Month and a bit left of school and boy is there a lot to do! Tomorrow we go to the leg and I booked out Conflict Manager trip for June 21. We have track x 2, walk around the block, and many things to get done in the classroom.  Before you know it July will be here!
